When Crown Luxury Homes took on the task of designing and furnishing a new bubble tea shop near Trafalgar Square, we knew we had the opportunity to create something truly special. Our client, a budding entrepreneur with a passion for bubble tea, envisioned a modern and inviting space that would capture the essence of this beloved beverage. The result: “Tea Parlour,” a vibrant and stylish haven that has become a beloved local spot.

Led by Interior Designer Kimmi Lee and Project Manager Egis Dabrila, the Crown Luxury Homes team brought this vision to life.

A Fresh Start with a Modern Palette

Our design approach focused on creating a bright and airy space that would appeal to a younger demographic. We started by introducing a fresh colour palette. Crisp white walls were chosen to maximise natural light and create a sense of openness. This was complemented by warm wood accents, bringing in a touch of natural warmth and texture. The focal point of the space is a striking blue bar counter, its vertical slats adding a dynamic element and echoing the movement of swirling boba. The blue hue, reminiscent of the ocean, evokes a sense of tranquility and refreshment, perfectly aligning with the brand’s identity.

Furniture and Fixtures: A Blend of Comfort and Functionality

To ensure the space was both stylish and functional, we carefully selected furniture and fixtures. Comfortable booth seating with plush cushions invites customers to linger and enjoy their drinks. The bar counter, equipped with state-of-the-art blending machines, is a testament to the shop’s dedication to quality and efficiency. We also incorporated a display shelf showcasing an array of tea flavours, inviting customers to explore and discover new favourites.

Lighting and Ambiance: Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere

Lighting plays a crucial role in setting the mood. We incorporated a combination of pendant lights and recessed lighting to create a warm and inviting ambiance. The pendant lights, suspended over the bar counter, add a touch of sophistication and draw attention to the heart of the operation.

Our client’s vision of a modern and inviting space has been realised, and the shop has quickly become a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
